ORS were delighted to be selected to work with Stewart Clague Services Ltd on their refurbishment and new desk installation project at RBS, Howard Pearson House, Douglas recently.
ORS were tasked with the removal of over 350 existing desks and the assembly and installation of new replacement Steelcase Bench Desks over 5 weekend phases. On one phase ORS successfully removed 110 existing desks to waste and installed the replacements working alongside other agencies - Electricians, Carpet Fitters and IT in and impressive 16 hours.

As is usual with our operations of this nature the installations all took place out of office hours to avoid impacting business as usual. The existing desks and all waste is removed from the building and where possible the furniture is re-used. Where we can't reuse materials we recycle and where this isn't economic all remaining materials are submitted for Recovering Energy from Waste.
