Ok so where would you expect us to put our big van.... when we are moving furniture out of the Douglas Town Hall ?
We understood his worship wasn't using it at the time and we were given permission to use the Lord Mayor's parking space. It made life a lot easier for us on a few occasions over June and July whilst relocating several of the Finance and Housing Department Offices and moving furniture and equipment inter building.
Over the 2 months whilst they were undergoing a refurbishment, we supplied Douglas Borough Corporation with crate hire, porterage to support the inevitable churn and fitters for the assembly of furniture. Always flexible we were able to react on a daily basis to their changing needs and priorities.
